Andrew L. Fair

Andrew L. Fair

Andrew L. Fair has been practicing immigration law for over 30 years. He received a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, Summa Cum Laude, in Oriental Studies, specializing in Chinese language, literature and culture. He received a JD from Temple University.

Mr. Fair is widely recognized for his success with applications based on the National Interest Waiver, Extraordinary Ability, and Outstanding Professors and Researchers categories. Mr. Fair has lectured on immigration options for research scientists and for college and university teachers. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor for the City University of New York, School of Professional Studies, where he teaches a course on immigration law. He is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and Spanish, and he has traveled to Taiwan and Hong Kong, and throughout mainland China. He enjoys books, theater, art museums, and yoga.

Mr. Fair lives in New Jersey with his wife, who is an artist and art teacher. He has two daughters, one a graduate of New York University’s film school, and one a graduate of Vassar College.



Maria Lopotukhin

Maria Lopotukhin

Maria Lopotukhin has been with the firm since 2001. She received a BA in Communications from Queens College and a JD from the New York University School of Law. Prior to joining the firm, she practiced corporate and corporate tax law. She specializes in employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant petitions. She has lectured on PERM labor certification process, and she is a moderator for the forum on Employment-Based Preference Petitions on the message center of the American Immigration Lawyers Association website.

Ms. Lopotukhin is fluent in Russian. She lives in New York City with her husband and two young sons. She enjoys diverse cultures and cuisines of New York.



Alice Yuan

Alice Yuan

Alice Yuan received a BA in Anthropology from Queens College and a JD from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. She is admitted to the bar of New York and New Jersey. Ms. Yuan had been a paralegal with our firm prior to attending law school and joining the firm as an attorney. She focuses on petitions for scientists, including National Interest Waiver based applications; Extraordinary Ability based petitions, and petitions in the category of Outstanding Professors and Researchers; petitions for artists and musicians in the Extraordinary Ability category; and O-1 and H-1B nonimmigrant visas. Ms. Yuan is fluent in Mandarin. Her hobbies include rock-climbing and salsa.

Susan Fahlikman

Susan Fahlikman

Paralegal

Susan Fahlikman joined our firm in 2014. Ms. Fahlikman received a BA in Psychology from Queens College and a MS in School Counseling from Long Island University. She decided on a career in the legal field, and has earned a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Hofstra University. Ms. Fahlikman enjoys reading, swimming, and exploring the world. She has traveled to 34 countries and hopes to visit many more. Ms. Fahlikman lives on Long Island with her husband and their two cats, Boris and Mikolai.




Jesse Nettleton

Jesse Nettleton

Paralegal

Jesse Nettleton first worked with our firm in 2011, before moving to Boulder, CO, where he also worked as an immigration law paralegal. He re-joined the firm when he returned to New York City in 2016. He received a BA in History from Oberlin College in 2010. He is an avid reader, and particularly enjoys nonfiction books that explore the human condition through lenses of psychology, philosophy, spirituality and evolutionary biology. Jesse Nettleton lives on the Lower East Side, and enjoys hiking and cooking.
